I'm in Texas again for this long weekend. The trip out began Thursday morning at 3 AM. Because I bought the ticket so late, I had to go to Orlando for my flight out. I usually hate going to Orlando, but it wasn't so bad at 3 AM. The only problem were the semi-trucks speeding along at 80 mph. Watch out!
The flight was marvelous...only about 40 passengers on a 200 seat airplane. There was no one at all around me for 3 rows. I could stretch out and spread my things out, too. It was quiet and it was COLD. I dozed and graded spelling tests the whole way...a nonstop flight, too!
I was ready for food and a nap once I got in to Dallas. Linda picked me up and we traded election stories all the way in to Fort Worth. I had lunch with Nirelle at one of our favorite places, Which Wich (a sandwhich shop). I then took a nap until the evening volleyball match.
TCU vs. Wyoming! The Horned Frogs won in three and there was a very nice Senior Night celebration afterward honoring Nirelle and Devon. It's hard to believe Nirelle's fourth year is about over. Linda has been out here for 4 1/2 years...time does fly!
Nirelle and Devin's senior picture....isn't it adorable!
